Citizen's Charter and Services



01. Completion of national and local level elections.

02. Completion of Presidential Elections, Referendum and Parliamentary Elections and Local Union Parishad Elections, Upazila Parishad Elections and Municipal Elections at National Level.

To prepare voter list with the names of all the citizens above the age of 03.18 (eighteen) years including the names of the voters list.

04. Preparation of National Identity Card along with voter list and making arrangements for its proper distribution.

05. To participate in various development activities of the district administration including voter transfer, amendment of national identity card.

07. Determining the seat-based electoral boundaries for the National Assembly elections.

07. Providing CDs of voter lists without photographs of various elections through a fee fixed by the Election Commission.

07. Observing the voter list through the fee fixed by the Election Commission, providing certified copy.

09. Encouragement and awareness activities for the spontaneous participation of the general public in various national and local elections.

10. Exchange views, consultations and take action with various local level classes and professionals to ensure fair and impartial elections.

11. Active participation of all officers and employees of the district and upazila in any developmental activities of the government.

12. Determining polling stations in Jatiya Sangsad, Upazila Parishad, Municipality and Union Parishad elections.

13. Provide advice for resolving various issues related to National Identity Card.

14. Arrangements should be made to include the names of those who could not become voters due to their stay in exile in the voter list.

15. If anyone wants to know any information about the election, give him the right advice.

16. Encouraging a 16-year-old citizen to become a voter and encouraging them to vote.
